Happy young women

I have a Masters in Social Work and Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism. I work with young people who have experienced homelessness and support them to live independently in a safe environment.

How did you become interested in working with young people/families at risk of or experiencing homelessness?

I have a passion to empower young people to have the strength to work on their goals and desires.

What is your favourite part about working at Hope Street?

Working with young people and having a supportive team.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

Travelling, hanging with friends and family.

Who or what inspires you and why?

To have goals and be driven by your passion.

What message would you share with others about young people/families at risk of or experiencing homelessness?

They are incredible, resilient people and should never be taken for granted because of their demographic. They have the ability to be the person they want to be by being treated like an equal on all levels.
