Norman Vella has worked in the homelessness sector for over 8 years. He has been an Advanced Skills Practitioner in the Alcohol and Other Drugs field and in high risk residential care for over 15 years.
Norman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Work and various other qualifications including but not limited to: Diploma Child Psychology, Diploma Alcohol and Other Drugs, Trauma based practice, and Supervision.
He believes that all people have the right to feel safe and to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of race, culture, religion or sexuality. Norman feels that as professionals we should always reflect social values and expectations so that those who look to us for guidance can see the best in society.

go to work to have fun! If you love what you do, it will show and the young people will reflect our positive nature. Given the opportunity, young people will choose the correct pathway for their lives, providing a positive impact on today’s society.
