Jessica Laino is a passionate and experienced People and Culture professional with over a decade of expertise in human resources, occupational health and safety, and organisational wellbeing. With a strong foundation in both the education and corporate sectors, she has successfully led initiatives that promote inclusive, safe, and engaged workplaces.
Prior to joining Hope Street Youth and Family Services as People and Culture Manager, Jessica held senior HR and OHS roles at a large independent school, where she oversaw end-to-end recruitment, led staff wellbeing strategies, and championed diversity and inclusion in hiring practices. She also played a pivotal role in modernising HR systems and embedding a proactive health and safety culture across the organisation.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) from La Trobe University and a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. As a professional member of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI), she brings a values-driven, people-first approach to her work. She is deeply committed to supporting teams who deliver high-impact services to vulnerable communities, and has a strong passion for contributing to youth-focused organisations that create meaningful change. Her focus is on empowering staff, strengthening culture, and ensuring compliance with the highest standards of safety and care.
